This page explains the enquiry and browsing features on Global Wedding Venues. Updated 17 September 2026.
Your enquiries
When you send an enquiry, request a guide or share your number in the WhatsApp form, the website sends the details you enter to our team. These can include your name, email, phone number, company, preferred venues, dates, guest count, budget and message.
Enquiry records also include the source page, submission time, internet address and browser information. We use these records to respond to your request, retain its context and identify repeat submissions. Please avoid including passport details, payment-card numbers or other sensitive documents in these forms.
Where a request goes
Requests are saved on our website hosting and sent to the team through email and an internal Telegram notification. Guide requests may also trigger an email with the resource link. If you continue to WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp. Your form submission does not itself send a WhatsApp chat message.
For a venue quotation, agree with the team which details need to be shared with the hotel or other suppliers. A website enquiry is not a confirmed booking.
Cookies and browser storage
- Shortlist: selected venue IDs are stored in this browser until you remove them or clear site storage.
- Visit preferences: session storage remembers whether the WhatsApp form was shown and which accepted request references were counted. These references contain no name, email or phone number.
- Guides: a convenience cookie can remember an accepted guide or tool request for up to 30 days.
- Analytics: Google Analytics measures site visits and interactions, including accepted enquiries. Our enquiry event sends the form category, page path and an opaque request reference; it does not send the form's contact details or message.
You can clear or restrict cookies and site storage through your browser settings. This can reset your shortlist and guide preferences. See Google's information about data from partner websites.
Property Instagram previews and other external services
When you approach a property's Instagram section, the page can load a preview supplied by Instagram. Instagram receives the browser requests needed to display it and may apply its own cookies or sign-in settings. We do not copy the property's posts into our own feed database. The official profile and separate preview links take you to Instagram.
Maps, fonts and other externally hosted page resources also involve requests to their providers. Those services operate under their own privacy terms; see Instagram's privacy information.
Contact about your details
To ask what enquiry details we hold, correct a request, request deletion or stop follow-up, email hello@globalweddingvenues.com. Include enough context for the team to locate your enquiry. Closing or clearing your browser does not delete a request already sent to the team.
