As a planning illustration, 80 rooms for 3 nights at Rs.60,000–1,00,000 per room/night gives Rs.1.44–2.40 crore for accommodation only. Meals, event hire, decor, production, transport, taxes and optional experiences must be added according to the brief.

Why the rooming plan comes first
Suryagarh's official accommodation pages list several types of rooms, suites, havelis and apartments. Multi-bedroom accommodation makes a key count different from a bedroom count. A current Condé Nast Traveller property listing describes 95 keys and 114 rooms. Ask the hotel for its current allocation by category before assuming a full-property room number.

What to add for the full wedding budget
- Hosted food and beverages: list the guest count and menu for each meal. Avoid counting meals twice when they are included in accommodation.
- Function spaces: name each space, time slot, setup period and any hire or exclusivity charge.
- Decor and production: specify the mandap, seating, stage, lighting, sound, power and any installation requirements.
- Guest movement: include airport or station transfers, overflow-hotel shuttles and transport to any separate event location.
- Other services: agree photography, entertainment, planning or coordination, staff stays and applicable charges individually.
For example, 160 guests × 4 hosted meals × an assumed Rs.4,000 per guest/meal = Rs.25.6 lakh. Adding this to the room illustration gives Rs.1.696–2.656 crore before the other items above. The meal rate is an arithmetic input, not Suryagarh's published menu price. This subtotal is still not a complete wedding quotation.
Desert experiences: price the complete scope
If an off-site desert dinner or other experience is part of your vision, ask for a separate line in the proposal. Confirm the exact location, permissions, access, driving time, vehicles, toilets, lighting, power, food service, staffing and weather plan. Check the return arrangements for children, elderly guests and anyone who prefers to leave early.
You can also build a celebration around the hotel's proposed on-site spaces. An off-site experience is an optional choice, not something this guide treats as mandatory. A photograph or social post does not confirm that an identical setup is bookable or included.
How to compare a two-night and three-night wedding
One extra night affects more than room charges. It may add hosted meals, guest transfers, supplier accommodation and another event. With the same 80-room block and the same illustrative rates, the extra night alone adds Rs.48–80 lakh in accommodation. Ask whether shortening the programme would change the hotel's minimum stay or room-block terms.
Build the schedule around actual travel options. A late arrival followed by a very early ceremony can leave little time for guests to settle in. Check flight and rail schedules for the intended dates before finalising the first function.
Room blocks, buyouts and deposits
Ask whether the hotel will offer a room block, a buyout or another arrangement for your dates. Get the definition of exclusive use in writing, including the rooms and event areas covered. Request the hold deadline, deposit stages, cancellation terms and the treatment of unused rooms. Do not infer these from another couple's wedding.
Compare a second venue with the same brief
If the desert setting is essential, include Fort Rajwada or another Jaisalmer venue in your shortlist. Compare actual rooms, event spaces and inclusions rather than applying a fixed percentage saving between hotels.
